Category: Accessible Games
I know next to nothing about these, other than the fact that you apparently use your body to control the game, so am curious about how the game operates. A friend of mine has one, and her kids were really into it, but I couldn't figure out from 1 minutte to the next what they were doing, sense 1 of them was saying something about monsters, then someone else was saying something about doing something with lolly pops lol.
Either way though, it sounded fascinating, and I've thought about maybe getting one, but have no idea if you can get them as a stand-alone unit, or if it's an expansion that goes with the xbox unit itself. Cound someone please tell me more about it?
To my knowledge, the XBox connect can only be played on an Xbox, it's a controller, not a stad-alone game. I also don't think it's especially accessible, most definitely if you're totally blind.
My son has had one for about a year. If you're totally blind, it makes a nice paperweight since it's completely and utterally inaccessible.
It's an Xbox 360 accessory. It uses a camera along with your movement to interface with various aspects of gameplay, such as aiming and movement. I've never used it myself, however I have used the Wii which, though different, is similar in operation to the Xbox connect and Playstation Move. Quite inaccessible as far as I know if you're like me and need to sit close to play games. My advice: save your money.
actually no, as long as you have some assistance you can learn to play a couple games, I only know of 2 so far though
marvel avengers and power up heros
but I agree, for now just save cash because there aren't enough playable games I know of for it to be worth it
bonus fact, the kinect also has voice recognition for some parts, eg in avengers choosing your team, navigating menus and performing your ultra moves
you have to actually say the move name to do more damage, for example berserker barrage! for wolvereen or, repulsor strike! for iron man
there is actually more you can do with it. It can be used for more then on the xbox. you can use it on your pc for different tasks like controling your computer and a lot of other fun things.
Ok, fun things like what?
